Physiotherapy. Delivered.

613 Physio is a mobile physiotherapy clinic that brings the best treatments right to your door — you heard us right. No more impersonal, factory-like physio centres, only personal, one-on-one treatment in your environment. No machines, waiting rooms, or distractions — ever.

We focus on you to not only relieve your pain but to restore your physical independence by including coaching and education, so you can prevent pain in the first place.

How We Do Physio

Free Phone Consult

We want to hear your story. Listening to you is the first step in understanding what kind of treatment or treatments you need.

Physio to Your Door

Your initial assessment is an important step in building a sustainable and successful treatment and/or maintenance plan.

Regular Sessions

In-person or virtual appointments can be scheduled à la carte or as part of a larger treatment plan, to fit your needs.

Maintenance

Getting you back on your feet is just the first step. Our long-term goal is educating you to prevent injuries so you don’t need us.

How is 613 Physio Different?

PEOPLE AND PLACE. After years working in physiotherapy ‘mills’, we realized that most clinics didn’t offer patients what they really needed — personalized care in a familiar and comfortable environment, your home.

We realized that our patients deserved the exact same care that we would offer our families, so in 2016, we established 613 Physio. From the beginning, we have focused on providing a mobile physiotherapy service that understands your lifestyle, custom builds treatment plans, and teaches you how to prevent injuries and become independent of us over the long term.

At 613 Physio we have always valued relationships over money and prefer to treat you as family rather than clients. We don’t quit until the job is done, all while having a little fun along the way.

    FAQ

Do I need a referral to see to see a physiotherapist?

No, you do not need a referral from your doctor to see a physiotherapist. However, some extended health benefits require a doctor’s referral to reimburse you for your claim.

Will my insurance company reimburse me if I choose 613 Physio?

Yes, our physiotherapists are all registered and will provide receipts that are accepted by most insurance companies. For example, most federal public servant plans provided by Sun Life, Great-West Life, etc. are covered. We also except Blue Cross (RCMP, DVA, etc.).

Can I do direct billing through my insurance company?

You will be required to provide payment at the conclusion of each of your sessions and a receipt will be issued. You will need to send the original receipts to your insurance company to be reimbursed.

Do you accept WSIB or MVA cases?

We do not accept any Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) or motor vehicle accident (MVA) cases.

Are 613 Physio clinicians registered with the College of Physiotherapists?

Yes, all the clinicians are registered with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario.

What happens during my first visit?

Your initial assessment is typically a 45-60 minute consultation involving both assessment and treatment. During the appointment, can you expect to:

    • Have the full history of your condition/injury documented as well as record your medical history.
    • Have a physical examination performed for the area involved.
    How should I dress?

If you come to your appointment directly from work, please bring some clothes to change into when you get to your appointment. Some patients wear or change into their workout clothes. Before you decide on what to wear, it’s important to consider what part of the body you are having treated. Your therapist will need to have access to the body part in question. Shorts are suitable for back and leg injuries, sleeveless tops for arm injuries.

What happens after the initial assessment?

Following your assessment, an explanation of the findings will be given. Your treatment options as well as a treatment plan will then be discussed with you.

    Is physiotherapy for me?

During your initial assessment, a physiotherapist will discuss with you if physiotherapy treatment is appropriate or if further testing is required. At this point you will be informed of the best course of action and if necessary, arrange an onward referral.

How soon can I get an appointment?

Most new patients are able to book in for an initial assessment within 1 week.

What type of payment methods do you accept?

613 Physio accepts cash, credit cards and E-transfers.

It is my pleasure to recommend 613 Physio. I have a broken body, everything from a knee replacement and back issues to diabetic neuropathy, and with the professional service and guidance I receive from Karen and Tracy I am staying out of a wheelchair. They are motivational and stay up to date with new therapies, and they always find a way to work around my issues with great results. They are without a doubt a tremendous asset to the physiotherapy and kinesiology disciplines and I recommend them without any hesitation.
